Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Nomad Stories Tools (the "Application"), operated by Nomad Stories, accesses, uses and stores data obtained through Google APIs. The Application is a private tool used only by its owner to manage one YouTube channel, Nomad Stories Drives.
1. Data accessed and why
With the owner's consent, given on the Google sign-in screen, the Application requests the following Google OAuth scopes:
- youtube (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube): to read and update the channel's information and the metadata of its videos (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, playlists).
- youtube.upload (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload): to upload videos to the channel.
- yt-analytics.readonly (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonly): to read the channel's statistics (views, watch time, audience metrics) in order to follow its performance.
The Application uses this data only to provide these features to the owner. It does not access any other Google account data.
2. Storage
The OAuth access and refresh tokens, and any data retrieved from the YouTube APIs, are stored only on the owner's own computer. Nomad Stories does not operate a server that collects or stores this data.
3. Sharing
No data obtained through Google APIs is sold, shared, rented or transferred to any third party. It is not used for advertising, and it is not used to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
4. Google API Services User Data Policy
The Application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, data is used only to provide or improve the user-facing features described above; it is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with notice to the user; and no human reads it except with the owner's consent, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law.
The Application also uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Retention and deletion
Data is kept on the owner's computer only for as long as needed to run the Application. Deleting the local token file removes the Application's access data from that computer.
6. Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once revoked, the Application can no longer access the YouTube account.
7. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
